From Our Volunteers

International Volunteer Day is celebrated on December 05, 2019 every year. This year the theme of the Day was “Volunteers for an Inclusive Future.”
In celebration of #IVD2019, Dosti Welfare Organization inducted around 150 enthusiastic volunteers for the “Blackboard Bnao –  Pakistan Parhao” Campaign. These Dosti Volunteers were divided into 26 teams and each team consisted of five volunteers. They visited different departments, schools and organizations and showed people, the spirit of the volunteerism. The objectives of this campaign was to register as many volunteers as they can for the campaign, provide advocacy about Volunteerism to common people and encourage them to volunteer for the education of 22.84 Million out of School Children in Pakistan.
Our Dosti Volunteers registered total 1700 Volunteers from different backgrounds of life who were willing to volunteer in different areas including Blackboard Banao –  Pakistan Parhao Campaign, Content Writing and Teaching etc. The Perfectionists, Peak Performers and Captivators were the top performing teams with 511, 426 and 201 registrations per team respectively. The volunteers put a great hard work, showed great energy and enthusiasm during the campaign and proved that with commitment and resilience we can fight the world’s toughest problems.
