In case of lack of enough information, most of the children tend to take help from their own imagination. So, it is better to tell children the truth in age-appropriate way rather than withholding it to yourself. Parents should encourage children to ask questions instead. They should take help of the child-friendly resources to give them awareness instead of letting them consume it through social media, adult conversation or media coverage. Because, either too much information or no-information can cause stress for children.
